This is the inside of the trailer. We had just finished getting it set up, so things weren't that organized in there yet. Also, we realized that I need my own door, so Charlie moved the ac over to put a door there.

For our second time out in the trailer, we went to McKinney Falls S.P. in Austin. It was beautiful!

First thing out was the bike!
This was kind of cool to watch. It's a cricket laying eggs. Jon sat there for quite a while with us, watching it. It would periodically move, to put more in another location.
Jon took a stick, and dried moss to make a tree. He came up to us very proudly to show us. We still have it!
Our first outing was to an area called lower falls. It was incredible. We were able to climb over to a rock by one of the falls.
Isn't that a gorgeous site?
I just love the expression on Jon's face.

I surprised the boys with a new set of water guns.
Jon got tuckered out. He cuddled with Mommy, eating dried peas.
A new way to play with the Tonka truck!
After lunch, we went to another area to play.
We really enjoyed watching this heron fishing.

It turned out that we were super close to where we were in the morning! The lower falls are just past those bushes!
We passed a family that had found walking sticks. When Jon saw this, he just had to find one. Daddy found one for each of them.
We went to see the McKinney homestead. Jon worked very hard to sound out the words on the sign. He did an excellent job!
This is the rock shelter. Charlie is looking a a mass of daddy-long-legs that hang out there. There are bunched together and make for a rather creepy sight!

After this walk, we headed for home. We all had a wonderful time, and can't wait for our next adventure!
